How to Choose the Perfect Bath Towel: Materials, GSM & Style

Choosing the perfect bath towel can be overwhelming with so many options available. Beyond just color and style, three key factors will help you make the right choice: material, GSM, and size.

Materials

The type of fiber a towel is made from directly impacts its feel, absorbency, and durability.

Cotton: This is the most common material and a great all-around choice. Within cotton, you'll find different varieties.
- Turkish Cotton: Known for its long fibers, this cotton becomes softer, fluffier, and more absorbent with each wash. It's a popular choice for high-end towels because it's both luxurious and quick-drying.
- Egyptian Cotton: Famous for its extra-long fibers, Egyptian cotton is exceptionally soft, durable, and highly absorbent. It's often considered the gold standard for luxury towels.
- Pima Cotton (Supima): Similar to Egyptian cotton, Pima is a high-quality, long-staple cotton that's incredibly soft and strong. It's a great option for a towel that will last for years.

Size and Style
