Purchasing Agent (West Haven, CT)

Purchase products including towels and bath rugs from vendors in Turkiye as needed and maintain relationships with them. Examine product suppliers and determine reliable ones to establish an efficient network. Assess vendors on a number of criteria: price, quality and timely delivery with the power of negotiating skills to ensure the right price for best products.

Consider the inventory and warehouse needs and availability to determine the best purchase order for any given product. Communicate efficiently with the warehouse and sales team to identify product needs. Timely handle problems of products and ensure fastest return and exchange or refund.

Rate of Pay: $65,000 per year
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration
Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs./week
